Well, I think there is a pretty good chance it could be today. We are going on two weeks from April 9th. Either way it needs to be soon, I dont wanna be notified finals week or sometime in June....

Didn't the notifications last year go out just before closing on Friday? I doubt it'll be today (though I wouldn't complain!), but I suspect there's not a lot of point in leaping out of bed on Monday morning to check our emails.

Fridays are pretty typical announcement times. Especially at or just after COB eastern time. It allows them to make the announcement and let everyone calm down over the weekend before they can get ahold of someone to discuss / dispute / question the decision.

Most of my experience is with government contracting but I would assume that this would follow a similar thought process.

A word of advice: there is an app on the iPhone called Boxcar (I'm sure it's on other OS's, too) that gives you an email address to forward to will notify you of incoming mail. So, and easy thing to do is set this up to forward emails from smart@asee.org and have it's sound on your phone be incredibly obnoxious. That way, if you haven't checked your email recently (or are asleep), you can rest assured you haven't missed anything because the noise hasn't happened.

This setup has completely changed my anxiety levels. Before I was having trouble sleeping (would bolt out of bed to check email). Now, I sleep like a babe. Now, If only there was something like this to proxy check the website, but that's another story ...

..... No- It doesn't mean anything. In past years some people get selected who didn't have an interview and some who had an interview did not get selected........

I was commenting more on how the forums have sloooooowed down then trying to hint that I think they make any sort of announcement today. A few typically means three so that puts us still a ways out before they will be pushed to make another blanket statement on the progress. They could surprise us all and make a decision though.

We'll know ahead of the announcements by changes starting to happen with the login page. Until things start changing there, we should not start expecting emails (in my oinion).
