After rejection acceptance

I'm not sure I understand. However, I remember receiving an email notifying me that I was not accepted on the first round and then another email notifying me that I was accepted on the second round. I never received an email with the word "rejection" in it, although that's how I initially received the news mentally. ... If you happened to be rejected and now recieved an acceptance email, congratulations! There were likely a number of people that either choose not to accept it or were no longer able to accept.

Checking in---was the deadline for the first round people to accept their awards Friday, April 19 (two weeks after announcement on April 5, 2019)? Still holding out hope.

yes it was, i'm guessing they haven't sent out second round awards yet because they aren't done processing all of the first round awardees paperwork. I assume they will be sent out after they get all of the paperwork and are able to go through the 'wait listed' people again.

I was a first round awardee and I forgot to do something that needed to be done by the 19th (orientation quiz and video). They emailed me saying they are giving me until the 26th so it's possible you might have to wait until after that to hear.

Super excited to say that my SF called me yesterday to notify me that I should be receiving an acceptance email soon after the initial rejection. I never got the email, but when I logged in to the SMART portal I was notified of an offer!

Yesterday I got a call, and today I received an email notifying me of the award!

A few details about me:
Degree: Masters in EE
SF: Port Hueneme

I didn’t originally list them as a preference, but they interviewed me. In the preference call, I then listed them as my first choice.

Heads up. I learned that the last of the scholarship offers will be given out by the 2nd week in July. Good luck to all of the semifinalists!
