My conversations with SMART indicate that multiple SFs can make a bid. All the bids are put into a pool and each applicant awarded with a scholarship will receive one SF, selected based on a number of considerations including applicant specified priorities (if you got multiple SF bids you probably got a call from SMART asking to confirm your priority order), SF needs, funding, etc. So, you may have had multiple SFs interested but you will receive only one SF in the official offer.

Just got accepted! Read the forum and went to the website. The decision was listed there although I haven't received an email either. Congrats to everyone here!

All the official email says is to log in to the awards site for more information. That would lead one to believe that the SF listed there for you is the one that is sponsoring you. I didn't get the facility I thought I would be getting either, but I am very happy with the one I got.

You may want to check your SPAM folder for the letter.

I was rejected too. I thought for sure if we'd made it this far we had a good chance of receiving funding. Guess defense budget cuts have been taking their toll.

Otherwise this will be your final notification regarding the 2014 application cycle. We appreciate your interest in the SMART Scholarship Program."

Haven't heard anything yet. Hopefully, all individuals will receive notice at the same time, not just those individuals who received the award. At this point I just want to hear a decision (but I'd obviously prefer to hear positive news :) ).
