This questions is for you scholars that have already been accepted in the SMART schoolarship program. I am courious on how the proces works. Recently I recieved a e-mail stating that I passed the first phase and my information will go to sponsoring facilities. I ask you guys that have been accepted, how was the process ater that ? How is the interview by the sponsoring facilities? anything you guys can add about the process will be gratly appriciated. Thank you.

I honestly think it depends on how the SF rolls. Mine gave me a phone call maybe mid March and they gave me a phone interview. We talked about the kind of work that they do, I told them about me and my experience. Sure enough once I made the final cut, they had put in for me and that is where I will be working.
I also think some people heard nothing at all, SFs selected them based upon their resume alone, and got an award package saying hey you wanna work halfway across the country?
Keep in mind if you get to one of these interviews like I did, it could be amazing. But I believe once the SF selects you, there are still only so many awards SMART can give away. So while they could have wanted to hire you, if you aren't the top I assume academically of the people that SFs had selected, you may still not receive the scholarship.
