Any contact with SF's in IT?

I requested facilities in the Baltimore-DC-Alexandria metro area since I'm a Marylander and still haven't received a call or e-mail from any SF's. Just wondering if other IT applicants face the same scenario. I'm going for Cyber Security more specifically.

May 2017: Honors A.A.S. in Computer Information Systems: PC & network Management Focus at a 4.0
August 2017: Begin pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science: Information Security & Assurance Track
~5 years of applied IT experience in networking, server administration, and etc.
