Double Major

I am a freshman, and I am applying for the SMART scholarship this year. However, I am pursuing a double major: one in Mechanical Engineering and one in Physics. The application only lets me pick 1 major. What should I do here?

I have sent SMART an email, but they have not yet replied. Any suggestions?

I'd pick mechanical. They might have more of a use for that.
Although physics could be interesting if one of the nuke labs is recruiting.
