Just to pour a little more fuel on the sequestration fire here. My SF just announced that tuition assistance would be eliminated as of this coming fall term. Note that I am specifically referring to DoD civilian TA not the military TA that's been in the news as of late.

Ahh! Noooo! As in, the training office will no longer pay for college courses? That's unfortunate - I'm half way through a master's degree using that little benefit.

Would you mind sharing which branch of service you're with? Maybe it's a SF-specific decision, or a branch-specific decision...

Since it's an SF level program I'm assuming it's SF specific, but this is the word for Dahlgren at least.
