Hi,

I've got a gap in my taxes that can apparently only be explained by IRS form 1098-T, which the form claims the SMART program was supposed to deliver. I received one for scholarships I received at the beginning of the year, but I haven't received one from SMART for the last half of 2011. Does anyone know what my options are here?

I got a 1099-MISC from SMART, and a 1098-T from my school, but no 1098-T from SMART, which is what I need to fill the payment gap my school is currently showing on their records. You're saying you got both a 1099-MISC and a 1098-T from SMART?

Sorry I meant I got 1099-MISC from SMART.

The 1098-T from your school should include the payments made by SMART ... mine did.
