For the 306 form, do we sign under Applicant, or Appointee? I'm a little confused lol

I signed under Applicant.

For recruitment, you're an applicant.
If you were hired as a retainer you're an appointee. This would be if you are a current full-time employee of the federal government and then got this scholarship.
The proper box is checked off on your award letter saying if you are recruitment or retainer.
