Graduation Date Pending

If my graduation date is still pending.. do I fill out the forms as if my graduation date is the original one? not the new one that is pending?
"Please note an approved award adjustment will be reflected in your award documentation and you will need to submit the most updated version of your award documents."
Wait until it is accepted before you start filling out the mountain of paperwork.
