So I originally was scheduled to graduate in 2020 but a class ended up being offered this Spring that wasn't originally going to be offered. I took it and doing so allows me to graduate in 2019. I've just been awarded for my first preference (so excited), but am unsure which route to go about for this. Do I simply request an award adjustment through the portal? Or should I tell me SF point of contact first?
I'm originally scheduled for 3 years of service, but with the 2019 graduation date I'll only intern for 2. I'm fine with interning for 2 years and then still working under the SF for 3, but am unfamiliar with how this process works. Anyone with experience and thoughts from a similar situation is appreciated!

Tell your SF point of contact first, because they can dismiss you from the program if they chose to deny the request. It shouldn't be a big deal if it is shorter.
