Does GPA Matter?
Does GPA Matter?
I read in the contract that one may be dismissed from the program if a semester of classes is below a 3.0. I've got a 3.9 cumulative now, but this current semester is killing me. It may be under a 3.0 by the end of this month. Has anyone heard of participants being dismissed for grades? Thanks.
Re: Does GPA Matter?
A lot of the government STEM jobs require a 3.0 to be hired, so yes, GPA matters.
I've even heard of a 3.5 requirement too, but I've never seen it...not that I've been looking.
This has been covered a few times The best option to not get your ass beat is to tell the SPO, or whoever your managing org is, ahead of time. You have a 3.9. They're not going to fire you, but they will want to know why you fell off the wagon.

Re: Does GPA Matter?
I am pretty sure they go by cumulative GPA, not semester. At least from what I could find in the handbook and such. As far as the semester goes, as long as you pass all the courses and your cumulative stays above 3.0 I think you are okay.
