Hey all, I got this e-mail today in response to one I sent on the 19th about not getting an e-mail:

Thank you for your message and your patience as we continue the SMART
Scholarship evaluation and selection process. Please be advised that at
this time we have contacted all of the Semi-Finalists with whom the
Department of Defense wanted to do a follow-up interview. However, there
is the possibility of more applicants being contacted. We will let all
SMART Semi-Finalists know of their final status as soon as we are
directed to do so by the DoD, which we hope will be this week.

It sounds like April 1st is not a solid date, so mayhaps we can prevent another panic like the one for the e-mails on March 19th.

I hope it's on the 1st. I am so nervous its killing me. I'm just ready for it to be over, to know for sure a yes or no.

I heard the selections where completed March 17 from my command. Unfortunately, I am pretty sure what my status is since the command forgot to send my name to SMART. Argh... The process was new for us and a lot of miscommunication.
