Has any obtained any new information about when the award notifications will be sent? Last I heard was "summer".

I called the SMART ASEE office a few days ago - they're still waiting on the DoD to officially conclude interviews. Ideally, they want to make announcements in May. Nothing's definite though...

The SF which interviewed me contacted me yesterday to say they had completed all their interviews and have sent in their awardee names. They are now waiting for SMART to tell them how many awards they get to give out and let them deconflict any students who are wanted by more than one SF. She said hopefully in the near future they will announce awards but she had no idea how long it would take the SMART people to be done with their things. I also don't know if any other SFs are done with their interviews, just the one I want..

Anyone else heard from any sponsoring facilities or have any in's with the SMART folks with word of anything?

I haven't heard anything new. I sent an e-mail on the 16th of April asking about a better time frame for award notifications and never got a reply.
