Anyone heard anything yet, or have any idea when they may make an announcement?

A few people have posted that they think it will be next week. I was able to log onto
the ASEE website yesterday, but not today, so maybe they are close to contacting the
chosen few.

Got my email finally!!

What did your email say, and who sent it to you?

Has anyone else heard anything yet--via email, phone call, or mail? I'm starting to think I won't be contacted since I haven't heard anything yet. Was really hoping to be selected, oh well, if I'm not selected I'll just try again next year. Congrats to those that are getting selected.

I think the 'just kidding' guy was...just kidding. Hopefully, because I haven't heard anything yet either.

Geeze- sorry J/K but not the kind of sense of humor that helps fight the anxiouse wait- tell a bar joke or something! No news here, been checking the e-mail box when ever I get a chance. So no news from everyone is still good news.

STILL, nobody has heard anything? I hope they realize how stressed out we get with this waiting game. What is so difficult for them to just send out a mass email telling us if we've gone on to the next level or not.

Tell me about it I'm in the middle of writing a paper and I am having a hard time focusing....

No offense guys (gals), but knowing now or 10 days from now isn't going to change anything in the end. And even if you have made it to this round, there are still plenty more to be cut, so knowing will do nothing to decrease your stress level.
Instead, try not being stressed about it at all. Receipt of this scholarship will not mean that you are going to be the next best thing since sliced bread, and not receiving it won't mean you can't be the next best. Take it as it comes, but keep doing what you need to do in the mean time.

I think the non-semi-finalists will be too bitter to care if they are told not to post. The semi-finalists on the other hand will be afraid of any retribution, they will most probably comply....

The website no longer states they notify applicants at each stage.... so now it just comes down to the possibility of getting a call for an interview (if applicable). Guess now we can forget about worrying for an email to come out since isn't going to be one. Best of luck everyone.

The waiting is killing me!! Anyone else hear back?

If the people reviewing our applications are also looking at our posts on this forum I bet they're sitting back laughing at all of us. I'm going crazy over this waiting. We may be sitting here until some time in March waiting for an email or phone call that may never come.

I just got an email saying I made it to the next round! I'm glad they finally got sent out.

Just got the same email about advancing to the next round!!!

I actually would have been pissed if I didn't make it to the next round (paying for an ivy ms degree all in loans = $28000/semester => (if rejected = fml = ivy not worth it)) but so far so good!

I got an email today telling me I made it to the next round. Hopefully it pans out....
