Hey everyone. As we await our SFs of choice reaching out, I'm sure many of you (like myself) have been scouring the forums or the rest of the internet looking for updates. There's a lot of ambiguity involved (at least in my case, let me know your thoughts) regarding the status of our applications. You either get notified for the interviews or you don't, and you kind of have to take this forum's word for what candidates say as it is really the only source of info regarding our statuses.

As such, I thought it was a good idea to start a separate thread that helps the rest of us with visibility to track our own progress by comparing and posting which SFs we're waiting on. It's helpful to know exactly where your facilities stand regarding interviewing candidates as it helps remove an extra layer of mystery surrounding the validity of your own candidacy at your SFs of choice so we can all plan ahead. Anyone interested can go ahead and drop their stats: GPA, year of study, major, top 5 facility choices, other relevant info that can make you a competitive candidate, and (most importantly) whether you've been contacted by a SF for an interview yet. I'll go first:

-2nd year Chem E associate's degree plan (seeking funding for Nuclear E bachelor's at a transfer institution I have guaranteed admission to)
-4.0
-DoE sponsored lab + composite manufacturing & corrosion project exp

My top 5 choices for SFs (in no particular order) were:

-Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FL)
-JBPHH (HI)
-Naval Sea Systems Command C200 (CA)
-Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (ME)
-Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (WA)

The US Navy is the sponsoring branch of each of my SFs. I have not been contacted yet for any interviews. Anyone else?
