Is Statistics a STEM degree?

Post by Guest0002 »

I was wondering if SMART funds statistics degrees? Also, if my college only offers a BA in statistics, would they fund that?

Unless I just have no clue what field statistics falls under, I would believe that it would be covered under mathematics.

I think a better question is that even if "statistics" is under mathematics, what are the odds a sponsoring facility would even consider taking on a person doing that?

I mean. Maybe you have a point. But it's always worth a shot!
Plus one of the available SFs is The Research and Analysis Center. Seems like a degree is statistics would be a good fit.
