Missed call from SF

I realized I missed a call from one of the SF last week that I'm really interested in. I called back and left a voicemail. Did I miss my chance/is it too late...?
Professionally, I don’t see a problem calling again if it’s been 2-3 business days. People get busy and forget to check their voicemail. Two is probably the limit though.
