Howdy!

I've been contacted for a phone interview with an SF.
I was wondering if anyone that has already had an interview or has in past years has any information on what to expect? Common questions asked?

I think it will vary based on the facility and major. In my interview the questions were very typical:

Tell about a time working in a team.
What leadership roles do you have? What kind of leader are you?

Mostly it was them telling me about what they are working on and how they saw me fit in.

I received an email, like many of you, notifying me that I had move beyond the first phase. I haven't received anything from any SF yet. The email sent by smart is very ambiguous, and says we may not even be contacted. Is it a bad sign that i haven't heard from anyone yet?

I am in the same boat. Got the email but still no interview yet. I think there is time yet. Hang in there!

While getting interviews is certainly a good sign, not being contacted apparently doesn't necessarily mean anything one way or the other. I've read through the last few years of posts here, and several people have talked about being awarded the scholarship without being contacted from any sponsor facility about an interview.

So, basically, as the previous poster said, don't give up hope!
