If so, I'd be willing to bet that those emails are on the recipient's list.
I was thinking the same thing. Unfortunately I'm also still getting the original error message..

I wonder how many of those views are from the same people. I've checked this forum about 100 times this past week...

I'm not sure that means anything... when I tried it from my cell phone I was redirected (and then got the incorrect username/password message). When I tried from my laptop where I have email/password stored, there was no redirect.

That's good to know. I definitely don't want to go chasing waterfalls with this...

LIKE! :)

So does this mean we should expect something around 8:00pm or 5:00pm?? (EST)
Wouldn't 5:10 Central time mean we should expect something around 6:10 EST?
Yes: http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/time-z ... l-time.htm

But I thought the award notifications were coming from DC, which would be EST?

I guess I should just be grateful that if the awards go out based on EST at least those of us on the west coast have less time to stress...

If all the emails go out simutaneously at 5:00 EST, everyone still gets them at the same time. Just Sayin' :)

I think the poster was suggesting that they didn't have to wait till 5:00 Central time, that instead they'd get theirs at 4:00 central time, 5:00 EST. Similarly, west coasters would get it two hours "early".

Yes, but unfortunately for the east coasters when I dragged my ass out of bed @ 9am it was already noon for them, so in comparison they (if they also woke up at 9) had already spent 3 hours biting their nails.

I'll just be happy if they send out the notifications today. Central Time, Eastern Time.. I don't care. Just don't let me go to bed not knowing....!!!

It's 3:00 where I'm at. This means at LEAST two hours of waiting, if not, three... maybe longer.

Well technically how long you have been waiting is determined by when you submitted your application.

I would rather bite my nails for a few hours over this then have football in the morning. I mean a 10AM kickoff is a horrible way to start the day. You can't even drink respectfully until after noon. :)

Three cheers for east coasters. I'm just outside of DC, so in my more nervous moments I've been tempted to hop on the metro and go bug the SMART office directly for my results!

FYI--Earlier I sent an email with the subject "Awards" to a friend of mine and a completely different topic. I saw my inbox was up an email and when I clicked to view I saw subject "Awards". Having forgotten that I sent that email, I nearly choked until I realized what had happened.

:sigh:

No worries! We'll attribute it to higher levels of stress than normal, though I don't know why I would assume anyone here would be stressed.

I'm originally from Texas, grew up in Tennessee, and I now live in the greater DC area, attending the University of Maryland in College Park. I love the east coast; can't say that I have any plans to return to the south. I might move out west if I get the chance, but I've requested to work here in the area so if I get the SMART I'll be around here for the next six years or so.
