"SSPPs who applied for and received a SMART award in the years 2008
through 2015 may request an increase in the stipend rate for additional qualifications earned in
the form of a conferred STEM degree funded by SMART."
Just wondering if anyone knows what this means?
Regarding the Handbook
Re: Regarding the Handbook
This is in regard to what your highest earned degree is. The stipend is based on your education level. Let's say you are in SMART for a PhD, currently have a BS degree. If you pick up a MS degree while working toward your PhD, you can request to have your stipend increased to the highest level based on possession of a MS degree. Does that make sense?guest wrote:"SSPPs who applied for and received a SMART award in the years 2008
