How do individual the amount of applicants and awardees differ Sponsoring Facility to Sponsoring Facility?
How do individual the amount of applicants and awardees differ Sponsoring Facility to Sponsoring Facility?
I'm likely to apply for the next cycle and want to know if there is any way to gauge the number of past applicants and their respective acceptance rates over the past few years for each SF. My current best approach is to use the simply divide the number of scholars by the number of years a SF has been a part of the SMART program. Anyone have any ideas on how to get a good estimate of the likely number of applicants who had that SF ranked?

I should add, beyond checking the phase of SMART participants

SFs don't share enough information to be able to accurately gauge that. If you want to compare the stats for 2023-2025, grab all the data about 2023 from the main site now. It will go away when they publish 2025 numbers.

Even if you could find those numbers, I'd expect them to change.
Things are very different in the DoD than they were a year ago.

From the map that has the number of scholars since the facility has been a part of the program, the data I scraped a few weeks ago didnt include the most recent cycle. With them opening the application again, they must have include the most recent data so I can find the difference. For example, locations that recently joined showed zero since scholars since 2025, but are now showing for example 5.
