Surely they wouldn't just send this sort of email to everyone, right?

... right?

I got a lil hopeful when the bottom said “Stay tuned details will be provided in the award package” 😂

I think they did. It looks its just a mailing list (like you can unsubscribe at the bottom).

... And don't call me Shirley

Bahaha @ JT457... I love the "Airplane!" quote... it's one of my favorites haha

As far as the save the date email... eh, I received the same email last year. I believe it's sent out to everyone.
Stinks because it's kind of a tease. This is my third year applying and the number of applicants has only grown :/
I'm pretty disheartened about the whole ordeal. Have not heard a single thing in all three attempts.

Everyone or everyone who might still receive an award? They send the awards out in waves depending on how many people accept them so it might not be a promise of an award but more like something that goes out to anyone still on any SFs list of possible choices, even if not the first choice. Not sure, but my interpretation is that anyone who didn't receive the email for sure won't get an award packet but getting the email does not guarantee you will receive an award packet.

Did anyone not receive the "save the date" email?

They said:

"Please note the 2025 Awardee Orientation Save-the-Date announcement was sent to all applicants on Tuesday, February 25 to plan accordingly if offered an award. This was not an indication of your application status, candidacy, or selection for the SMART Program.
