Re: 2020 Semifinalists
When is the last week? Last week of March. It is my understanding that the first week of April is when finalists are notified (much like first week of February was when semi-finalists were notified). I was told the last day that SFs had to make their selections was today March 18. Unless that has c...

I can't imagine internships will be fulfilled. DoD travel (to include DoD civilians AND contractors) is restricted through May 11, ATM. Most DoD employees are teleworking as well. Any scholar who has an internship that it supposed to begin around this time period should also be restricted from trav...

Re: Coronavirus and Internships
I'm a semi-finalist and have a NREIP internship coming up this summer in San Diego. I hope the coronavirus will not interfere with my internship.

Re: Register as pursuing a MA or PhD?
1)Apply for your highest degree level you'll have before your planned full time work start date. Also request the scholarship for the entire duration, don't expect an extension. You get a slightly higher stipend if you're a PhD and it will change your starting salary. 2) I would put the undergrad o...

Register as pursuing a MA or PhD?
Hi all
(1) I am a first-year student in a joint MA/PhD program and was wondering if I select I am pursuing a "MA" or "PhD"?
(2) As a first-year student, would I put my undergraduate GPA or my anticipated first semester GPA?
Thanks
