How many retention applicants are still going for their degrees and/or leaving their agency? I'm still going for my degree. I was planning on going either way, this was more a way for my SF to retain my services (by paying me salary and having SMART pay my tuition) than anything else. My supervisor...

It still stings to get rejected but this frees me up for the future. I have a Plan B in place so I'm alright in the end and will still go to school. Just will take longer working part time but still rewarding. Rejected as a 4 years, PhD Oceanography, retention applicant. I think my SF is going to be...
