Re: Prestige/ Salary
In general, DoD labs have excellent reputations. Just start looking them up and you'll see what I'm talking about. Also, to put things in perspective for you, I've never heard of Sandia National Labs before but I've heard of several of the SMART SFs. I'm an aerospace engineering student working on a...

Re: Official Email Recieved 2011
Not a happy first official email, but here it is: ------ Dear Jeff***********, This message is to inform you that you were not chosen as one of the 230 Round 1 Finalists for this year's award competition. Please note, a second round of up to 70 additional awards may be issued this month. Your applic...

Re: Been Contacted?
I feel inclined to send an email to the SPO asking what their status is, but if they're as busy as they ought to be right now, I don't want to bother them. If anybody (somebody more anxious than me) feels audacious enough to contact them, please share your findings.

Re: Been Contacted?
I'm starting to wonder if they really intend to update their events calendar if the notification date gets pushed back. So far, neither of their two (conflicting) calendars have changed.

Re: On Pre-emptive SMART Discussion:
flordearcoiris: Thanks for posting this message. I fell prey to the same confusion. I have not yet heard about an interview, but this week is supposed to be SPO interview time. Evaluation #4 has been going on for nearly a week now and ends a week from today, so either the SPO is behind on their inte...

I am a 4th year Aerospace Engineering major working on a blended BS+MS focusing on propulsion and minor in Physics with a GPA of 3.81. I come with some research experience (and the promise of ...
