We’ve been able to bring on a few new hires and SMART scholars generally jump to the top of the list. As far as I’m aware, all SMART scholars that were supposed to start this year have by now, albeit later than planned.

As a hiring/selecting manager, this would not hurt your chances at all because it’s not coming out of my own budget.

If anything it might slightly help because some mangers may utilize SMART to help a person that really needs it such as yourself. I do not take it under consideration but some do.

Fairly certain it’s cumulative that matters.

I have selected 3 SMART scholars over the last 2 years, and have worked with many more.

Looking to help people out so feel free to ask anything. Looking to keep agency anonymous so I do not plan to share that.

Really depends on the agency.

Mine will start a BS ME at mid GS-9.
