I received the SMART scholarship in the most recent cycle. Has anyone else in this cohort been contacted by the FBI yet to begin the security clearance process? I'm getting nervous that I was supposed to reach out to someone to get this process started.

Is there a reason you were not cleared for the summer?

Has anyone been successful in convincing SMART to fund a class taken over the winter/January term? I believe the handbook says the scholarship is only valid for Fall/Spring terms, but I don't see why they should oppose the month-long winter term.
