I was not drug tested, and I don't believe you would be tested at the site visit. Technically, you do not accept the award officially until after the visit, so I don't think they would waste time/money testing people who still might decline the award.

I got it a few days ago. There was an uploaded document from SMART in my award portal approving the site visit, and then the payment came about a week afterwards.

I emailed SMART about this, and they replied saying they had a large number of transcripts to go through and it was causing some delays.

I got an email from my SF POC and from SMART: "SMART provides a flat rate to the awardees depending on the travel distance. We try to get the funding to them as soon as possible so the sooner we confirm site visit dates and the sooner the awardees submit their site visit request, than the sooner we ...

Perhaps they are awarding more applicants and the portal is glitchy? IDK.

I was just wondering if anyone ran into a similar situation. I can access my award portal and have accepted my award, but I never received an official acceptance email.

The SF listed is the one I interviewed for, so I am pretty sure it is not a mistake.
