Good Afternoon,
I was wondering if anyone could provide me insight as to what GPA is used for transfer students. I have an extremely high GPA from my last college and a now low possibly borderline GPA from my current university. Because this is my first semester at the current university, I do not have the freshman-year insulation (or any humanities at all) on my cumulative GPA as everyone else does. Will cumulative GPAs be based on current and past grades, or because of the fact I transferred am I going to get screwed over? For example, a single C in a field of A's and B's on a non-transfer is normally ok but in this case is it going to kill me because my new school doesn't take into account the old GPA, and because it's my first semester at the current school?
