I've been out for a while, but I think AcqDEMO replaced YS.

Basically it's a better pay system that enables them to retain engineers and skilled employees better that GS. In other words, you "can" get paid more for good work.

Does anyone know anything about the DEMO pay program. I was looking at the website for NSWC Dahlgren and it says that 94% of their employees are on the DEMO HR system versus only 6% on the GS-scale. I have never heard of it before and can't find too much about it online.
