Do I simply request an award adjustment through the portal? Or should I tell me SF point of contact first?

I'm originally scheduled for 3 years of service, but with the 2019 graduation date I'll only intern for 2. I'm fine with interning for 2 years and then still working under the SF for 3, but am unfamiliar with how this process works. Anyone with experience and thoughts from a similar situation is appreciated!

Tell your SF point of contact first, because they can dismiss you from the program if they chose to deny the request. It shouldn't be a big deal if it is shorter.

You can request a change of date on the award portal.
