I would suggest keeping in mind that the site visit is to make a first impression with your future place of employment and future employers. As mentioned before, business casual with slacks and a nice shirt is probably a good idea. I know they say the site visit can be 1-2 days, but if yours is 2 days and after day 1 you felt underdressed, nothing wrong with amping it up a little for day 2.

It will depend on the organization. I am in phase 2 at a USACE site. USACE dress code is business casual. Some of the higher ups will be wearing ties but slacks and a nice shirt are a safe bet for both men and women.

I'm just going to be safe and go business casual. I mean even if the dress code was casual it would make you look better and more professional with business casual. Basically just wear what you would to an interview and you should be fine. Again I'm just guessing, that is what I'm wearing at least.
