I'm the second poster.

Just to add. Some document I received along the way said don't move until you have the offer, because who knows what the start date will actually be. Of course, in the real world you would think confirming your start date with your manager would mean something.

As far as apartments go, everyone should ask if there is a base forum/online messaging board. There are typically engineers renting out extra rooms for reasonable rates with no leases.

This happened to me, and it took me telling them that I wouldn't be able to move down without an offer letter to get them to finally get me one. I wasn't able to apply for apartments without proof of income, and that offer letter was the only way I was going to be able to prove my pay. Just keep on them, and make sure they understand the importance of the offer letter and how not having it is impacting you.

I didn't get an official offer until a few days before I started. They wouldn't have gotten around to it either if I didn't bother them. It's really dependent on the the facility HR.

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has gotten an official offer letter yet for graduation in May? I have arranged to start in June with my SF, but I have yet to actually receive an offer letter.

Thanks!
