Looks like SMART is drying up:
[1] CAC sponsorship transferring to Sponsoring Facility
[2] Delayed monthly stipend
[3] Shrinking (and disappearing) internship support payments

Will they be going away altogether, though? That is the question that remains.

I think it's much more bureaucratic than that. The letter we just got says that the SPO has "grown beyond sustainability." I think the SPO has plans for what it wants to do, but a new office (OSD) has higher priority on how the money is distributed. So SPO is doing what they think, then OSD comes in and redoes everything because they want the money going somewhere differently. I feel like it's set aside, but OSD is changing how they allocate it. Just my two cents worth

Anyone else feel like SMART is having a major budget crisis? Are we being duped into believing that our award money is really "set aside"? First we don't get paid due to a "glitch", with no certainty of when we will get paid. Then, they cut the internship support payments.
