I think you can apply during your senior year of high school for the scholarship. I don't know how likely you are to get it, but I didn't see any rules saying you can't. You just have to put what major and where you want to study on the application. Then you have to get admitted or you have to ask for an award edit to change it to a school you got into.

Right now I'm a rising high school junior and I was reading about this scholarship. Is there any way to get the scholarship to cover the first year of college? Or will we have to pay that ourselves?
