I didn’t have to submit a high school transcript when I applied to SMART last year to fund my master’s degree. If you’re applying for a PhD program, you shouldn’t have to submit a high school transcript based on the 2017 application period.

Has the High School transcript always been a requirement. I am 29 and specifically served in the Marines because my grades sucked. Pretty sure I had a 2.1 GPA or less. I have applied and been a finalist for the SMART in my Ph.D program the last two years. I couldn't have submitted the transcript before, because I don't have one. Any thoughts?
