The form is long but not really that bad... I would just ike to know quickly if I did not make it. I am a pull it off quick kind of guy. The anticipation of thinking that because I had not heard anyhting yet that I might have made the second round and then finding out I did not just does not appeal to me.

I applied last year but didn't make it. A couple of weeks after the initial deadline they sent out SF-86's (security clearance application) which were due mid January or so. On Feb. 17th I received an email saying that I didn't make the cut to semi-finalist.
The SF-86 isn't supposed to affect your chances of becoming a finalist but it is something that you should look forward to filling out.
Not sure how this year is going to shape up.
Hoping to at least make it past February.

Will we here anything between now and March? If you application is rejected or you are dropped off in the first round will they let you know?
