I am a part of the 2010 Cohort who got a 3 year Undergrad award.

In my experience, the award is more dependent on your degree path and whether or not it is desirable for any DoD members in the country. If they want you bad enough, they won't care how long the award length is. Basically, the award length may make a difference (i.e. -- the DoD may need a student NOW and will only want to award a one year award for your degree), but the degree type and your scholarly history and recommendation letters play a larger role in the decision process.

I hope this answers your question and good luck!

3 year award odds

I've applied for 3 years of undergrad funding. Just curious if anyone has had success or what the odds are when applying for 3 years? Its seems, after reading some blogs, that odds of acceptance decrease the more years requested.

thanks!
