Contacting smart

can we ask someone about a timeframe of when to assume we're never hearing again? Or the amount of additional scholars expected??

Or why we can still reset our passwords/see the temporarily closed message??

First off, I would advise everyone to chill and not get angry just because you didn't get selected yet. Second, don't necessarily take not getting an award to mean that there was something your application lacked. The final phase of selection comes down to SMART looking at which SFs they are going to award funding to. If you know a SF recommended you for the reward, then your application WAS good enough, SMART just decided not to award the funding to your SF. I did not get the impression that my SF expected to get awarded funding but they DID recommend me so it is no surprise that I haven't been selected yet.

Also, keep in mind that SMART is planning to make multiple roundS of additional offers. So I would certainly disregard any temper-tantrums you see and keep an eye out on the forum/awards page for any future changes. If you're getting the temp closed error, it's worth not writing the scholarship off just yet.

Welcome. The Unofficial SMART Scholarship Forum is fully supported through this banner add.
