Does anyone know if it is possible to do a research Fulbright while a SMART scholar? I know there are 9 month Fulbright opportunities, so you’d still have time to do the summer internship, but idk if doing both would be allowed.

This is a question for SMART directly. Based on the handbook, probably not because it is a federally funded fellowship. I was told I pretty much can't take any opportunity that stems from the federal government, including contractors, when I was looking for alternatives after our internships were canceled last year. My guess is that you'll get a no, but it can't hurt to ask them.
