Is it possible to work a part time work study job (about 5-6 hr/wk) while in school being paid by SMART?
I thought I read we were allowed to work up to 16 hr/week while in SMART. If so, do we have to do any paperwork to prove we are working less than 16 hours?
Just want to make sure I do everything properly.
Part Time Work Study During School Semesters?
Re: Part Time Work Study During School Semesters?
Yes, as long as it is under 16 hrs/wk (during the semester) you can work part time. Every year you file an annual report that asks you, among other things, what outside funding and outside employment you have held that year. You do not need to explicitly prove it was under 16 hours, however, that form will ask you how long you worked and you will need to sign the form certifying its accuracy.HOrobOD wrote:Is it possible to work a part time work study job (about 5-6 hr/wk) while in school being paid by SMART?
