Won't graduate on time

I received an offer for the scholarship and I've been going through the required documents which led me to do an in depth degree audit and I realized that it will be impossible for me to graduate by the time I submitted to SMART... I would need at least an additional semester to finish my degree.

My questions are:
1. How long is the summer internship? (Maybe I can take courses in the summer as well...?)
2. If I can't feesibly graduate by the date I submitted to SMART, what do I do? Am I just completely screwed due to my own stupidity?

Please help me out, I'm freaking out.

So there's possibly two things you can do.
A) since you are a recent awardee, I'm assuming you won't be contracted on till next August, so you can still take summer classes this summer (2018) and fulfill your requirements, as long as you can still do the site visit
B) you can also submit an award adjustment request. It should be located somewhere on your reward portal. If you get it approved then you should be fine, else I'm not sure. They usually get back to you within a couple days

I hope that helps

Thanks, I submitted a request for change. I'll feel really stupid if this affects my chances.
If you don't mind my asking, have you requested a change before?

I was awarded SMART last year and immediately had to request a change in award length for a similar reason. Was excepted with very little issue besides the paperwork.

As with pretty much anything with SMART (in my experience and through reading this forum) any requests is possible as long as your SF agrees with it.

Yes, my SF agreed to it and I had no issue changing my award length, thankfully.
