I am applying for to be at Luke AFB after graduation. Can anyone inform me as to the average starting salary for someone of my degree and position?

Depends on what degree you are finishing with and what pay system your SF is on... BS typically gets you near GS-7, MS will get you GS-9 (you can look up the pay tables on OPM's website). If they have switched to Acq/Lab Demo, you may get paid a bit better than GS.

GS-7 if a BS and GS-9 if a MS. They'll bump you every year on a ladder and you'll end up at GS 12. So if you start at GS 7 you'll jump to 9 the next year 11 the year after and 12 the year after that. If you start at GS-9 you'll jump to GS 11 the next year and GS 12 the year after. It's low starting salary for engineering but jumps way faster than outside government positions would.
