I'm currently taking classes at my local community college (partly so I have a fall back two year degree if this doesn't work out, and partly because tuition is dirt cheap), and they offer a one year certificate in data analytics that would entail only taking an extra couple classes beyond what I'm already scheduled to take. Does the SMART scholarship application have a place for listing such certificates or is that not something they take into consideration? I saw they had a section for awards and honors, but I wasn't sure if this would be applicable.
Thanks in advance for any helpful responses!
Certificates?
Re: Certificates?
I think you can easily fit it into some of the sections. The full application requires all these sections listed below. Most of them are a short essay or detailed list. Sadly, once the application closes you can't see what you submitted so I can't remember where I listed stuff like that, but I would guess academic background, professional experiences if you've done any class projects or interests/research explanation and focusing it on how that would help the DoD.
