Year: It's complicated, but Sophomore for Engineering
Major: Civil Engineering
Facility: US Army Corps of Engineers - New York District
Award Portal: Didn't check until I got the email today

This was my second attempt. I interviewed with the Huntington District last year, but did not get an award. I also interviewed with Hurlburt Field this year in addition to the New York District.

I never checked the award portal, until I received the award, I just relied on the emails that I got before then.

I was in the same boat (lol, navy pun) but I declined NUPOC for this. SMART is a lot more in line with actual engineering work. NUPOC is mostly just management and oversight, with little to no applicable engineering experience. More money from what I calculated, but much longer commitment in an area that may not really be helpful in the long run.
