yeah, they said they dont get a lot of people like this and things will get sorted out by the end of april

It is possible the facility is confused and thinking you might be interning this summer when they talked to you if it is the facilities first time taking a SMART scholar.

SMART will not sponsor an internship the first summer. If your facility would like to offer you one, that's great, however, you will have to coordinate with the base to get a temporary clearance.

so i was going through the paper work, blah blah blah, and we have to contact our SF.. ok cool. So i started talking with the guy and we got a little confused about the summer..

I know the orientation is this summer, and checks from SMART dont start coming till august.. but has anyone sorted out starting their internship at the end of their semester?

I'm currently finishing up my sophomore semester.. so ill have the scholarship for 2 years and a definite internship next summer.. but is anyone in a similar situation?
