SMART should fall under an outside funding source no different than your parents paying. Financial aid is government assistance like work study, it would be through your FASFA - which I didn't even fill out when I had SMART paying. Officially SMART is not even paid by the government, it's paid by LMI.

Regarding Limits

Hello everyone,
I have a quick question. I just received a notice from my school that I reached my max limit of college credits and am placed on Finacial Aid Suspension because of to many credits. The limit is 1.5 x 128 hours of my degree plan. Does this affect the SMART Scholarship? Is the SMART scholarship considered Title 4 financial aid? Thanks
