Gosh that ETS is such a racket.

I had to take the GRE once for my master's, and again for my PhD because my scores had expired. (I worked for 5 years in between). Taking it the second time set me back another couple hundred bucks, which is no small amount for a student.

Hope that snafu doesn't affect your application. Maybe call and beg mercy from SMART folks, then send official report from ETS?

I have had luck calling government agencies before. Can't hurt anyway. Although I'm not sure what the SMART contact phone is.

In the FAQ portion of the website it states that they only accept scores sent directly from ETS. They also list the code to do so. The next FAQ talks about electronic reports that ETS sends the test taker (in reference to scores being too old for ETS to send) and says they don’t accept those reports.

Hi Everyone,

I applied to this years SMART scholarship, and I forgot to request my GRE scrores from ETS; but I uploaded an official ETS form that included my GRE scores. Will SMART overlook/deny my application because I did not request my scores?
